Lead Visual Merchandising Jewellery

Job Details

To increase sales, get buyers attention and to provide an excellent in-store experience by developing, delivering and

conversing visual concepts and strategies to promote Titan products and services in-store.

Education Masters of design (preferably NIFT/ NID)

Marketing: Visual Merchandising: VM Planning

1. Develop and approve annual business calendar for the VM function

with details of projects, new initiatives, manpower allocation etc.

2. Create and approve the annual budgets for yearly VM activates for

events like collection launches, festivals, company led promotions

etc.

3. Negotiate with internal stakeholders with respect to budget and

requisite resources to ensure seamless operations

4. Identify and approve visual merchandising requirements for new

and existing products based on feedbacks received from customers,

competition study etc. which can be either merchandising driven or

campaign driven or VM led

5. Develop manpower optimization strategies for the function while

taking into considerations requirements provided by the teams and

the overall expansion plans

6. Plan and approve the store- wise annual audit schedule

7. Create and approve the VM look-books for festivals, events,

exhibitions and store launches to be shared with the regions for

8. Plan, approve and handle escalations related to the special focus stores like wedding destination stores across locations

Marketing: Visual Merchandising: VM Research

1. Guide and support the teams in studying the market trends in terms

of materials, colours, concepts etc. and help in improving the overall

look and feel of the concept in hand

2. Guide and support the teams for competition study to explore new

possibilities for both Indian & international markets

3. Derive inspirations from sources like fairs and exhibitions like- Bridal

Asia, Asian paints etc. New and innovative ideas Improvement in the design concepts

Marketing: Visual Merchandising: VM Design

1. Develop and approve VM brief for the stores which are collection

specific or driven by the VM requirements

2. Support and provide feedbacks in terms of feasibility for all the new

designs and concepts

3. Approval first concepts presented by the teams based on feasibility

and cost involved

4. Provide support in creating the installation demo and manuals

intended for the regional teams for execution VM designs Number of reports on execution feasibility Adherence to timelines

1. Conduct installation testing for all the new concepts of a collection

launch at one store to ensure feasibility of the design and provide

approvals based on the results

2. Introduce, develop and approve new vendors as a part of vendor

network expansion and ensure capability building for all of them on

1. Create and approve store planograms for new collection launches

for all relevant stores across locations

2. Conduct periodic study in existing stores to optimize the product

display space and maximize product visibility

3. Identify and create new spots within stores to enhance visual

1. Control and update the processes of the VM function to ensure

compliance with the defined guidelines of Titan Company

2. Support and resolve the issues regarding audit compliance and

ensure on the closure of all issues through liaising with internal

1. Explore new designs and concepts by attending workshops and

seminars across locations and encourage team members as part of

1. Drive a culture of diversity, performance and transparency in the

region and ensure the employees in the region are engaged.

2. Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative

approach.

3. Ensure talent pipeline is created by succession planning for the

4. Set Objectives for Reportees aligned to the organizational /functional. 5. Liaise with HR on vacant positions. 6. Conduct recruitment interviews for key positions in the region; Monitor the implementation of the Sales Training Program for the region.
