Roles and Responsibilities:
- Outsourcing & Buying planning based on the companys competence and the inherent need of buyers.
- Emphasis on the dynamic business model of direct Suppliers, Vendors, Buyers, and Brands.
- Budgeting, Business Planning, and demand forecasting related to procurement requirements.
- Implementing strategic souring plan and strategies for buyers that ensures the attainment of company goals and profitability.
- Direct Liaising with domestic and International suppliers, Vendors, Retailers, and their Converters across the globe.
- Managing Value chain strategy to utilize maximum capacities with available sources.
- Regularly in touch with suppliers and vendors for strategic development and strengthening of relations.
- Visual merchandising to display all products electronically or physically in fairs.
- Material outsourcing for Specialty products or Value addition to core products.
- To keep Vigil on competitors buying strategies and ensure market intelligence.
- To have maximum buyer/brand nominated business from suppliers, mills, and vendors.
- Exploring market info and trends to keep the R&D team updated for strategic product planning.
- Catering labs accreditation from buyers, brands, and certifications from agencies.
- Achieving the set budget targets of outsourcing, buying, and new developments on a regular basis.
- Having full knowledge of Shipping, Payment terms, and all exports documentations.
- To ensure product quality, Complaint analysis, claim assessment, and settlement.
