Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Administration and Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our fashion school. The ideal candidate will manage administrative functions, ensure smooth operations, support academic and non-academic departments, and contribute to creating a productive environment for students and faculty. This role is key in ensuring that the institution runs efficiently and effectively while upholding the school’s vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Management:

Oversee the daily administrative functions, including admissions, student services, facility management, and resource allocation.
Manage communication between departments, faculty, staff, and students.
Maintain and manage school records, including student enrollment, attendance, academic progress, and faculty performance.
Operations Coordination:

Ensure the smooth running of all operational aspects of the school, such as classroom scheduling, event coordination, and logistics.
Monitor and manage the upkeep and maintenance of the school’s infrastructure, equipment, and fashion labs.
Coordinate with IT, maintenance, and facility teams to address operational needs.
Admissions and Enrollment:

Support the admissions team by streamlining the enrollment process, assisting in student onboarding, and ensuring the smooth execution of admissions activities.
Manage communication with prospective students, parents, and external stakeholders regarding admissions policies, programs, and deadlines.
Faculty and Student Support:

Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and the administration, addressing operational or academic concerns promptly.
Assist with scheduling classes, managing faculty workloads, and ensuring timely submission of reports and grades.
Support academic departments in the organization of events, workshops, and guest lectures.

Compliance and Policy Implementation:
Ensure the institution complies with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Implement school policies related to discipline, attendance, health, and safety.
Assist in updating and implementing the school’s operational policies and procedures.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A degree or experience in Fashion Management is a plus.
Experience:

3-5 years of experience in administration or operations, preferably within an educational institution or creative environment such as a fashion school or design institute.
Skills:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with faculty, students, staff, and external partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and administrative management software.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Preferred:

Familiarity with the fashion or creative industry is highly desirable.
Experience in event management or coordinating academic operations.
