Position: Assistant Store Manager
Burgundy Brand Collective will be launching a French children’s apparel brand in India, with the first store in Mumbai. The brand has crafted collections that reimagine the timeless heritage of French fashion for children. As a contemporary brand with classic roots, they create clothes, accessories, shoes, and nursery items that celebrate the magic and whimsy of childhood.
Responsibilities:
· Overseeing daily store operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and general store upkeep.
· Managing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records.
· Leading the recruitment, training, and development of retail team members, fostering a motivated and customer-focused team.
· Driving store sales and profitability by implementing effective sales strategies.
· Maintaining and safeguarding store assets and equipment.
· Ensuring impeccable in-store visual merchandising that aligns with the brand’s luxury standards.
· Resolving customer issues with professionalism and tact, ensuring a premium shopping experience.
· Planning and executing stock replenishments and managing stock movement efficiently.
Candidate Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
· 5-8 years of experience with an international luxury retail brand, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
· Prior experience in the luxury kids’ apparel or fashion industry is highly preferred.
· Exceptional customer service skills with a strong emphasis on communication.
· Highly organized with a meticulous approach to tasks and store management.
· A results-driven attitude with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and store goals.
· A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline is required; an MBA or Diploma in Retail Management is a plus but not mandatory.
