Job Summary:

As the Store Manager of [Hypermarket Name], you will oversee the entire hypermarket operation, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, efficient store performance, and effective team management. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, and creating a positive shopping environment that meets the diverse needs of our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Leadership & Team Development:
  1.  Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of employees across various departments.
  2.  Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.
  3.  Conduct performance reviews and implement training programs to enhance employee skills.

 

  • Operational Excellence:
  1.  Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and   procedures.
  2.  Oversee stock management, including ordering, inventory control, and loss prevention.
  3.  Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

 

  • Customer Engagement:
  1.  Champion a customer-first culture, resolving complaints and ensuring a high-quality   shopping experience.
  2.  Analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  3.  Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention.

 

  • Sales & Financial Management:
  1. Drive sales growth by analyzing market trends, setting targets, and implementing promotional strategies.
  2.  Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, expense management, and profit optimization.
  3.  Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and customer trends to inform business decisions.

 

  • Merchandising & Marketing:
  1.  Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute in-store promotions and   events.
  2. Oversee visual merchandising standards, ensuring attractive product displays and   signage.
  3.  Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a hypermarket or large-format store.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of team development and motivation.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
