Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Fashion Design Faculty who specializes in Pattern Making and Garment Construction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and guiding students in both theoretical and practical aspects of fashion design, specifically focused on creating patterns and constructing garments.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach courses in Pattern Making and Garment Construction, ensuring that students gain a strong foundation in these areas.
Develop and implement course materials including syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
Provide hands-on training to students on technical aspects such as pattern drafting, cutting, stitching, and garment assembly.
Mentor students during practical lab sessions and guide them in creating their collections and projects.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in fashion and incorporate them into the curriculum.
Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and project evaluations, providing constructive feedback for their improvement.
Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Assist in organizing fashion shows and other student exhibitions, contributing to the practical experience of students.
Engage in continuous learning to keep updated with new methods, tools, and industry practices.
